Why do you want to do it? (3 to 5 sentence response)

The second I saw the image above I knew I would enjoy making the sculpture. I don’t know what it had, but it looked like me. It represents how I live my life to the fullest and I always have a smile on my face. I always do sculptures that have a meaning or something to do with me because I get more concentrated and inspired when actually doing the piece. Above, there is a smiling face, cracked up, with the eyes closed. It reveals how happiness is the key to live. You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.

Step 2. Planning/Processes

How are you planning to construct this piece?

Im planning on beginning to open up the clay flat like a circle on the table. Smoothing it and distributing the clay until it is a perfect circle for a head. Afterwards, I am going to use the white circular material that is made of clay and i am going to lay down my circular piece here. I'm going to shape it a bit more to make it even more professional. Then, i'm going to work on the eyes, mouth, and nose using the clay knife. Finally, i'm going give it last touches, smoothen it more, and let it dry out.

What do you like about this piece? Vocab to consider (form, volume, composition, weight,)

I love that this piece is flat. It is something you can make without a base and on a table. It doesn’t matter how much weight you put into it, the piece won't damage or break or fall. This type of pieces are normally simple and boring, but this one is extremely creative. It’s wavy form also make me love it.

What do you think the artist saying through this piece?

I think the artist is just trying to have fun making a creative face. He was in a imaginary and inspiring move because of all the details it has all over a face, which is supposed to be simple. We should always be creative and imagine new things. Have innovative and new ideas.

What do you like about this piece? Vocab to consider (form, volume, composition, weight,)

It’s form, the shape, how the floor will sustain the piece. It’s a skeleton face, and i have never tried making this. It looks interesting, just for fun.

What do you think the artist saying through this piece?

I think the artist is not trying to express any feelings or say something, just making the sculpture for fun and trying to attract people for her website. It looks cool, and it attracted me, so i think she is doing a good job making different types of sculpture to attract the most people possible and all different publics.

This Image above was a quiz, not my option!!!! Cool thouh :)
